Andy Craig *Signature Value : £10 | Andrew (Andy) Craig (born 16 March 1976) is a Scottish rugby union footballer who plays at outside centre. He played for Glasgow, Leeds Tykes and Scotland. Craig previously represented Scotland at rugby league, playing for Wigan, Halifax, Widnes and Swinton. He switched to rugby union joining Orrell in 2000, before moving to Glasgow in the summer of 2004. He then moved to Leeds Tykes for the 2005/2006 season. Craig earned his first cap for Scotland on Saturday, 15 June 2002 against Canada in Vancouver. Craig was an important member of the Scotland team for the 2003 Six Nations Championship and in 2005 under the reign of the Matt Williams he was the starting outside centre. Although it was a disappointing season for Scotland (one win against Italy), Craig scored two tries, against England and Wales. Craig suffered a setback after picking up an injury during the 2005/6 season for Glasgow. He returned to action for a few games after his injury and subsequently scored a try in one of his games. |
Dan Scarborough *Signature Value : £10 | Dan Scarbrough (born 16 February 1978) is a rugby union player who plays on the wing or full back for Racing Métro. He was National Division One leading try scorer with Wakefield for two seasons from 1999/2000 for whom he scored 17 tries from 46 starts and 2 as replacement before moving to Leeds Tykes where he continued his try scoring exploits, finishing second in the 2001/2002 list of Zurich Premiership scorers. It earned him a place in the final two England A matches of 2002 and he played in all four A games during 2003. Equally at home at wing or full back and instantly recognisable by his blond hair, he played in the first Churchill Cup and won his first cap in the 43–9 win over Wales last August. He missed out on a place in the 2003 World Cup squad, but he played in his second successive Churchill Cup in June as part of the England side which lost out in the final to New Zealand M?ori. Scarbrough won his first full cap for England in August 2003 with a 43–9 win over the Welsh, in the World Cup warm-up match. He has also been capped for England in the Sevens. He moved from Leeds Tykes to Saracens in 2004. He made his debut against Wasps in 4/9/04. Dan Scarbrough flew out to South Africa, pre world cup 2007, from England Saxons' Barclays Churchill Cup squad after several players, notably David Strettle, went down with a virus. The Saracens flier ended up on the wing at Loftus Versfeld and ended up scoring England's only try in the 55–22 defeat. He unfortunately just missed out on selection for the RWC 2007. Since joining Saracens from Leeds Tykes in 2004, Dan Scarbrough has established himself as a potent attacking weapon, leading the try scoring for the 2005/06 season. A series of injuries reduced his first team appearances to just eight in that first season, but he played 40 times for the Men In Black the next season at both wing and full back and was beginning to show the form that made him one of Leeds Tykes most prolific try scorers. At the end of December 2008, it was announced that he had left the club by mutual consent. He has since moved to French side Racing Métro. |
