DHM6556. Messerschmitt Bf109E-7/Bs by Jerry Boucher. Messerschmitt Bf109E-7Bs belonging to III./JG27, during the Balkan Campaign of 1941. The yellow and white painted areas were used as recognition markings, so that they were not fired upon by friendly ground units during their low-level sorties. Open edition prints. CLP0697. Clipped Signature - Peter Düttmann. Joined JG52 from 1943 until the end of the war, scoring over 150 victories. A recipient of the Knight's Cross, he died in 2001. Clipped signatures are usually obtained from prints or publications that have been signed in person.
