| Clive Sutton *Signature Value : £45 (matted) | Gunner aboard the Prince of Wales, he was onboard during the Battle of Denmark Strait, 24/5/1941 against the German Battleship Bismarck which sank HMS Hood and badly damaged The Prince of Wales. He manned the Pom Pom Guns when she was sunk by Japanese planes in December 10, 1941 he managed to get onto a raft for a few hours and then was picked-up by the destroyer HMS Electra. He got away from Singapore and stayed in Columbo for 18 months as a crew member of MLI086, an anti-submarine vessel and one of the smallest in the Royal Navy. |
