Kepler Wessels No Photo Available Kepler Christoffel Wessels was born in Bloemfontein on the 14th of September 1957. A former cricketer who captained South Africa after playing 24 Tests for Australia, he was the first man to have played One Day International cricket for two countries. Kepler Christoffel Wessels was a left-handed opening batsman but also was a right-arm off spinner and medium pace bowler. He played cricket across the world for the Orange Free State, western province, Northern transvaal, eastern Transvaal and Griqualand West in South Africa, and in Australia Kepler played for Queensland and also played in England for Sussex. He has since being coaching, and has coached in the Indian Premier League.
